For smaller models, many recent computers work. Larger models run best with a strong graphics card and plenty of memory, and we will tell you exactly what you need. ### Is it worth repairing an older computer? Often, yes. A solid-state drive and more memory can make a five-year-old computer feel new for far less than a replacement. We tell you honestly when replacing makes more sense. ### Can you fix my computer remotely? Many problems, like slowness, pop-ups, email trouble and software issues, can be fixed remotely with your permission. Hardware repairs need hands-on work. ## Related services - [Custom Workstations for Video, CAD & AI](https://wisconsintechshop.com/computer-repair/custom-workstation/): Workstations built for heavy work: video editing, CAD and engineering, 3D, data and running AI models locally, tuned to your software.
