# Can’t Verify Your Google Business Profile? How to Get Through Verification

Google often asks for video verification now: one continuous recording showing your location or service equipment, signage and proof that you manage the business. Make sure your business details are accurate and consistent first, and set up a service-area business if customers don’t come to your address.

Also searched as: Google Business Profile video verification · GBP verification failed · verify Google business without postcard · Google verification pending

- **Starting price:** From $250 setup + $125/mo

- **Where:** Remote, anywhere in the U.S.

- **Quote:** Fixed price before work starts

## Try this first

- Make the name, address, phone and category match your website and signage
- Hide your address and set a service area if customers don’t visit you
- Plan the video: signage and the street, the inside or your vehicle and tools, and proof like keys or business documents
- Record in one continuous take without editing
- Wait for the review, and don’t edit key details while it’s pending
- Contact Google Business Profile support if it keeps failing

Common causes

- A business name with extra keywords
- A PO box, virtual office or shared address
- A service-area business showing a home address
- A video that doesn’t clearly show the business
- Details that don’t match your website
