# Locked Out of Google Workspace Admin? How to Recover Super Admin Access

Try the super admin’s account recovery first. If that fails, Google lets you prove you own the domain by adding a DNS record it gives you, then reset the super admin password. Afterwards, add a second super admin with up-to-date recovery details.
