## Questions

### Why don’t I see the spam pages when I visit my site?

This kind of hack often shows spam only to Google or to visitors arriving from search, so owners rarely notice.

### How long until the spam pages leave Google?

Usually a few weeks once they return 404 or 410. The Removals tool in Search Console can hide the worst ones sooner.
