Yes. A few seconds of audio from social media can be enough to fake a convincing voice, which is why a safe word and a call-back rule work so well. ### Is a safe word enough? It’s the most important step. Screening unknown numbers and limiting public videos make it even harder. ### Will Mom still get email from new people she wants to hear from? Yes. Anyone can be added to her approved list in seconds, by her or by a family member, and their email shows up from then on. ### Does call screening block doctors and pharmacies? Not if they’re on the approved list, and we add them at setup. Unknown callers can be asked to say who they are, so a new doctor’s office can still get through or leave a message. ## Related services - [Call Screening for Seniors (Only Approved Numbers Ring)](https://wisconsintechshop.com/senior-safety/senior-call-screening/): Calls from family, friends, doctors and other approved numbers ring through.
