Locked Out of Microsoft 365 Admin? How to Regain Control of Your Account

Check whether anyone else in the company has an admin role, and try the admin password reset. If no one can sign in, Microsoft support can verify that you own the domain, often by having you add a DNS record, and restore access. Then add a second admin so it can’t happen again.
