Printer Says Offline? How to Get It Printing Again
Printers usually show offline because they changed network addresses, dropped off Wi-Fi or got stuck in Windows’ print queue. Restart the printer, confirm it’s on the same network, clear the queue, and give it a fixed address so it stops wandering.

Questions
Why does my printer keep going offline?
Usually its network address changes. Reserving an IP address for it on the router fixes that.
Should I connect my printer by USB or Wi-Fi?
For one computer, USB is simplest. For an office, a wired network connection is most reliable.
