QuickBooks Bank Feed Not Updating? How to Reconnect and Fill the Gap
Bank feeds usually stop because the connection needs you to sign in again, often after a password change, new security prompts or a change at the bank. Update the connection in QuickBooks, sign in again, then upload a bank file for any days that didn’t come through.

Try this first
- In QuickBooks, open Banking and click Update
- Look for an “action needed” message and sign in again
- If it still fails, disconnect and reconnect the account carefully
- Download missing transactions from your bank as a CSV or QBO file and upload them
- Review “For review” for duplicates before adding anything
- Reconcile the account to confirm it matches the statement
