Senior Cyber Defense: Only Trusted Emails, Texts and Calls Get Through
Scammers go after older adults because it works: fake Amazon refunds, Medicare and Social Security calls, “Grandma, I’m in trouble” calls, gift-card demands and pop-ups that say the computer is infected. We set up a safer way to stay connected instead. Email from people they know arrives in one simple, large-print app, and nobody else gets in. Calls from approved numbers ring; unknown callers are screened or sent to voicemail. Computers are locked down against fake virus warnings and remote-access tricks, and the family gets alerts and a simple way to help. Everything is set up patiently, with the senior in charge.

Scam Defense Programs for Senior Living Communities
A scam-defense program for senior living communities: resident tech help hours, safe email and call screening for residents who want it, staff training and secure resident Wi-Fi.
Who we help
Adult children and grandchildren looking out for a parent, seniors who are tired of scam calls and emails, caregivers, and senior living communities, churches and senior centers.
How it works
- 1
Family call
We talk with the family (and the senior) about who they hear from, what has gone wrong before and how much help they want.
- 2
Trusted lists
Together we build the lists of trusted people, businesses and numbers: family, friends, doctors, pharmacy, bank and church.
- 3
Set up and practice
We install and configure everything, then practice with the senior until it feels easy, with large print and simple steps.
- 4
Family stays in the loop
The family gets alerts and an easy way to approve new contacts, and we handle changes whenever they’re needed.

Senior Safety FAQs
Will Mom still get email from new people she wants to hear from?
Yes. Anyone can be added to her approved list in seconds, by her or by a family member, and their email shows up from then on.
Does call screening block doctors and pharmacies?
Not if they’re on the approved list, and we add them at setup. Unknown callers can be asked to say who they are, so a new doctor’s office can still get through or leave a message.
Is this spying on my parent?
No. It protects them, and they stay in charge. We set it up with the senior and explain exactly what the family can see; we don’t give anyone access to private conversations unless everyone agrees.
What if they already got scammed?
Call us right away. We lock down accounts, remove remote-access software, change passwords and point you to the bank and the right places to report it.
