Fake Amazon or Refund Call About an Overpayment? What to Do

Hang up and close any email about an unexpected order or refund. In this scam, the caller “accidentally” refunds too much, often while connected to the computer, then asks for the difference in gift cards or a wire. The refund was never real. Check orders only by opening the real app or website yourself.
