Disk at 100% in Task Manager? How to Stop It Slowing Your PC
A disk stuck at 100 percent usually means an older spinning hard drive is overwhelmed by updates, indexing, antivirus scans or cloud sync. Let updates finish and find the busy process in Task Manager; if it’s a hard drive, moving to an SSD fixes it for good.
