Is Remote Help safe?
It was built to be. Nothing happens until you start a session with a one-time code. Commands are encrypted end to end and only work when they’re signed by our technician’s key. You see every action and why, risky changes wait for your OK, and passwords and other private files are off limits.
Can you get into my computer later without me?
No. Every session needs a new code from you, a code works once, and sessions end by themselves. Remote Help doesn’t run in the background or start with Windows.
Do I need to stay at the computer?
Stay nearby. You may be asked to allow a change, and anything that needs administrator rights shows Windows’ own permission box for you to click.
What can you fix this way?
Most software problems: slow computers, pop-ups and malware, printers, email and Wi-Fi settings, updates that won’t install, program errors and more. Broken hardware still needs hands, which we can do in person across much of Wisconsin.
Is AI involved?
Our technician uses AI tools to find and fix problems faster. They work under the same rules: every action is shown to you, risky steps wait for your OK, and private files are off limits.
Does it work on a Mac?
The Windows version is ready. For a Mac, contact us and we’ll help another way while the Mac version is finished.
What does it cost?
